Albemarle Garden Club member, Dana Harris, was a guest speaker on a recent VPM’s Virginia Home Grown episode
where she talked with host Amyrose Foll, Executive Director of Virginia Free Farm, about the
Bog Garden at Booker T. Washington Park in Charlottesville, Virginia.  
Dana spoke about this micro-climate wetlands garden including the years of hard work to battle invasive plants,
our partnership with the City of Charlottesville’s Parks and Rec department, and the many plants now thriving in the garden.
