UVA Hospital Flowers: Now that our summer flowers are blooming, run out and cut a bunch and bring to Nancy Terry's house in 429 Ednam Drive where buckets filled with water will be available in her breezeway. Thank you to all those who have been bringing flowers each week! And thank you Alex Inman, our hero of the month, for ferrying them over to the hospital for us!!
Foraging for GCA 2020: We are still gathering natural curiosities for the decor at the GCA 2020 meeting in Asheville. These are items such as antlers, lichen, bark, etc., that represent the great outdoors of Zone VII. They will be a vital part of our centerpieces at the Zone Dinner which will host over 500 GCA Presidents and Delegates from all over the country. We want to show GCA members the beautiful things nature has to offer us in Zone VII.
